What is Abundant Future?

Abundant Future is a blog (weblog) website aimed at those interested in creating a truly sustainable way of living on this beautiful planet. It is a place for the discussion of inspirational ideas and happenings. Through these posts I hope that we will together begin to get a feel for the ways in which we can take what we know and re-create a beautiful world for ourselves again.

Who is Aranya?

Abundant Future’s content is produced by Aranya, a permaculture teacher and designer, currently based in Dorset, England. His main goal is to highlight inspiring and effective solutions already being used to create beautiful sustainable human communities in balance with nature.

Rather than scaring people into change (like many peak oil approaches!), he prefers to inspire and motivate. He feels that we can all live comfortable, enjoyable and truly sustainable lives, by learning the lessons taught us by nature. The answers are all around us!

Aranya teaches regular courses in permaculture design as part of the Designed Visions cooperative partnership.
